Rascal is a very handsome 5 year old Quarter Horse grade gelding and stands at 15.2 hands. Rascal is a very gentle and friendly horse and is used to being around kids, adults and lots of different animals. He loves to be loved on and be around people. You can groom him for hours, brush his mane and tail, bathe him - he just loves the attention and will come running up to you in the pasture. He is also great for vet and farrier and he loves to untie knots. He is very "in your pocket". Everybody loves him.
Rascal will ride English or Western or even bareback with a bit or in just a halter. He is a nice, light ride and stays quiet on a loose rein. He moves off your leg easily and responds to a soft hand and is also easy to steer. He also stays the same if you don’t ride him every day. He absolutely loves to trail ride. He will ride in the ring too but needs finishing there as he has done more trail riding than ring riding. He loves to venture out on the ranch with his human. He rides alone or in groups and stays quiet even if another horse acts up. His sweet personality will make him bond easily to his owner and he will look for you when you come to his pasture. His gaits are comfortable and easy to sit to. Rascal has been ridden all over on trails and nothing bothers this gelding. He has been exposed to everything you could imagine including dogs, cars, tractors, atvs, tarps, balls, umbrellas, cattle etc. We even play ball off of him... He is a very kind, honest and trusting gelding with a great disposition and a huge heart. He is curious towards anything new and not afraid.
Rascal loads and unloads in the trailer with ease and will stand tied all day like a gentleman. He also stands at the mounting block perfectly or when you mount from the ground from either side.
