Selling Information
We are excited to be listing your horse. Below please find the requirements and suggestions pertaining to your submission. We list all breeds as well as ponies and mules. Heart Horse Finder, LLC charges a 10% commission and a $100 catalog fee. The catalog fee is due with your submission, i.e. prior to the horse going live, the 10% commission comes out when the horse sells. The horse can sell with a buy-it-now click at any point during your listing, it can sell at the end at auction, or it can sell right after the auction ends if it is a no-sale due to a reserve not being met, we offer to reach out to the last person bidding and give them the option to buy the horse at the reserve price. More details below:
- Photos - Pictures of horse, pony or mule, ideally 8-10 good quality pictures including each side of body, head shots, with and without saddle still or being ridden.

Videos - A video or several videos showing as much of the following as possible:
- Riding your horse at a wtc and backing up or gait in the ring Wester, English and or bareback
- Over poles and jumps if applicable or show any particular discipline your horse excels at
- Riding your horse out in the country such as wide open fields, woods, over logs, through water, up and down hill, on roads with traffic
- Driving if your horse is broke to drive or longlining
- Riding or showing your horse around obstacles such as tarps, balls, umbrellas, flags, shooting a gun, dragging something, trail obstacles in a ring setting
- On the ground: grooming and tacking, bathing if possible
- You may fast forward certain things like grooming and tacking
- Show your horse around machinery and trucks and trailers, atvs etc
- Show it loading and unloading
- Include liberty if your horse has been trained in it
- Feel free to be creative but keep it safe
- Show your horse from all angles, front, side, back, i.e. not just following etc.
- You may add music to your videos as long as you own the rights to it or it's royalty-free.
- Please remember to only film landscape and the best way to send us a video is with a youtube-link.
- Write-up: Please send us a write-up about your horse including breed, height, color, gender, age and what you would like people to know about your horse in a descriptive manner.
- Vet Documents: We need a current coggins and we request a recent pre-purchase exam from a licensed vet.
