Pumpkin is a very cute 4 year old Quarter Horse grade filly and stands at 14.3 hands. She is a very gentle and friendly horse and is used to being around people and lots of different animals. She loves to be loved on and be around people. She stands to be groomed, lets you brush her mane and tail, and loves to be bathed. Pumpkin just loves the attention and will come up to you in the pasture. She is also well behaved for vet and farrier. Everybody loves her.
Pumpkin was born here on our ranch on 10/06/2022 to Ginger, a buckskin QH mare, who was equally in your pocket as this filly. Pumpkin has been around us from the day she was born and we started her here under saddle with our gentle method in early 2026. She will ride English or Western or even bareback with a bit or in just a halter. She is a nice, light ride and stays quiet on a loose rein. She moves off your leg easily and responds to a soft hand and is also easy to steer. She also stays the same if you don’t ride her every day, which is hard to find in a young horse. She absolutely loves to trail ride. She will ride in the ring too but needs finishing there as she has done more trail riding than ring riding. She loves to venture out on the ranch with her human and rides alone or in groups. Her sweet personality will make her bond easily to her owner and she will look for you when you come to her pasture. Her gaits are comfortable and easy to sit to. Pumpkin has been ridden all over on trails and nothing bothers this filly. She has been exposed to everything you could imagine including dogs, cars, tractors, atvs, tarps, balls, umbrellas, cattle etc. She is a very kind, honest and trusting young horse with a great disposition and a huge heart. She is curious towards anything new and not afraid.
Pumpkin loads and unloads in the trailer with ease and will stand tied all day like a lady. She also stands at the mounting block perfectly or when you mount from the ground from either side.
