Matilda is a very gentle and friendly mule and is used to being around lots of different animals including a zebra. She is a huge cuddle bug and loves to be loved on and will bond to her person. You can groom her or bathe her - she just loves the attention. She is also great for vet and farrier.
Matilda has been a joy to work with. She has been an easy mule. We have yet to find something she is afraid of. Any new things she encounters she meets with curiosity, not fear. Matilda has been ridden Western and bareback and has been on a lot of long trail rides. Matilda loves to go on trail rides and venture out on the ranch with her human and rides out alone or with other horses. She has shown to be extremely surefooted and is a nice, light ride with comfortable gaits. She has a nice headset, relaxed back and stays quiet ring or trails. She is traffic safe and will ride downtown too as you can see in her video. She has been exposed to everything you could imagine including dogs, cars, tractors, atvs, chainsaws, tarps, balls, umbrellas, cattle, poles etc. Matilda has a soft mouth and neck reins, she truly is a very easy to ride mule. She moves off your leg easily and responds to a soft hand, will turn and bend around your leg. Matilda is a very respectful and well-behaved, quiet molly mule. She is very willing to do anything she is asked. Her sweet personality will make her bond easily to her new owner and she will look for you when you come to her stall. Matilda loads and unloads in the trailer with ease and will stand tied all day.
